• enabled (boolean): Whether sound effects are turned on or off
• volume (number): Your preferred volume level (0-100)

This data is stored locally in your browser and never leaves your device.

Permissions Used

• Host Permission (chess.com): Required to detect game events (piece captures, checkmate) on chess.com pages
• Storage Permission: Required to save your sound and volume preferences locally

Third-Party Services

The Extension does not use any third-party services, analytics, or external APIs.
